What information we collect and use, and why

Under UK data protection law, we must have a "lawful basis" for collecting and using your personal information. You can find out more about lawful bases on the ICO's website.

Website hosting and technical data

This policy applies to individuals who visit our website.

When you visit our website, we process certain personal data to ensure its proper functioning, security, and to improve your experience. This includes:

  • Technical data: IP address, login data, browser type and version, time zone and location, operating system, platform, and other technical information about the device you use to access our website.

Our lawful basis for processing technical data is our legitimate interest in ensuring the security, stability, and effective administration of our website.

Your data is processed by our third-party website hosting provider, who acts as a data processor on our behalf. We have entered into appropriate data processing agreements with our provider. Where this involves transferring your personal data outside your country of residence, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. Information submitted via our contact form is delivered directly to us by email and is not stored in, or sent to, any third-party platform.

Cloud data hosting

We process personal data relating to our clients for the purpose of cloud data hosting. This typically includes general business-to-business client data such as contact information, personal data included in project files and briefs, and other work-in-progress assets necessary for our services.

Our lawful basis for this processing is the performance of our contract with our clients. We also rely on our legitimate interests to store client project files, briefs, and work-in-progress assets in cloud storage to deliver our design services efficiently and securely.

Your data is shared with third-party cloud storage providers, specifically Google Drive. Where this constitutes a transfer of your personal data outside your country of residence, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as the appropriate legal safeguard.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection legislation, you have the following rights. You can find out more on the ICO's website.

  • Right of access -- You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
  • Right to rectification -- You have the right to ask us to correct or delete personal information you think is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • Right to data portability -- You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you.
